in U.S. on hurricane preparedness for medical facilities.

Every video we produce is important.

However, Thunder Bay Productions occasionally breaks new ground with exciting projects to meet our clients needs in special areas of training. One just completed video project "Stormworthy! Medical Buildings and Hurricanes" has been produced for the Florida Department of Community Affairs and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The video is a first of its kind 38 minute training overview for architects and engineers who design new medical buildings or retrofit existing ones in hurricane prone zones of the U.S. It can also be used by physical plant managers at hospitals, nursing homes, and other medical facilities to better prepare their buildings for tropical storms and hurricanes.

Flagler Memorial Hospital of St. Augustine, FL, Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center of Brunswick, GA, and the BeBe Medical Center of Lewes, DE all assisted in the making of the video.

Company owner Gary Mitchell drew on years of work in television news, as a reporter covering hurricanes on the U.S. gulf coast, to write the script, shoot video and produce the project.
